Here at Samhain Shepherds we aim to breed and raise healthy companions with handler focused drives and easy dispositions. These dogs are better suited to active families who like to enjoy the unparalleled temperaments and personalities that come only with working line shepherds without sacrificing the iconic temperament, loyalty and protection we come to expect from this breed. Our dogs are registered, health tested and work here on our 50 acre farm everyday. Puppies are raised on puppy culture and are extensively socialised in our home, giving your pup the best start in life! Our breeding dogs and puppies are family and we would love for you to join ours
About Our Puppies
We believe in giving our puppies the very best start in life. That means our pups are raised in our homes, from day one surrounded by the normal rhythm of a busy family life. Our pups are raised on the Puppy Culture program, a science based puppy rearing program, focused on creating puppies ready for anything! These boys and girls are handled extensively from birth, socialised and exposed to almost everything. Pre-programmed with the skills you both need to communicate effectively and help your puppy adventure go as smoothly as possible.
On top of being heavily socialised to everyday life, dogs, children, cats, livestock, car rides and leash walking we also start our puppies on beginning scent work and various obstacles to build confidence from the earliest possible age. Firmly holding to the foundation temperament and use of the breed is incredibly important to us and want our puppies to be as versatile as the breed will allow!
Puppy picks happen at 7 weeks after temperament testing, making sure your family is placed with the very best puppy for you. Puppies will go home between 8 and 9 weeks with a puppy package, including all of their paperwork, transitional food, collar, leash, toys and a comfort blanket that smells like mom and siblings.
Our puppies come registered, vaccinated, micro-chipped, vet checked with a health guarantee and Lifetime support, ensuring you are never alone in your journey if you need us!

Safe Socialisation
Samhain Shepherd pups are socialised to everyday household life as well as , car rides, safe dogs, cats, livestock, leash walking, vets offices and so much more!
Health and Heart
Both mom and dad are DNA tested and clear from genetic diseases. Hips and elbows are good and normal. We expect our pups to be the same but offer a 2 year health guarantee from genetic diseases and congenital dysplasia, as well as Lifetime Support.
About Our Dogs
We ONLY want to bring healthy shepherds into the world so our dogs are health tested to ensure their health and the health of their puppies for as long as possible. We DNA test through Embark and have good and normal OFAs. We believe nutrition goes hand in hand with health and feed our dogs high quality Next Level dog kibble as well as fermented foods, fresh eggs and raw goat milk. We are an open book and we are happy to share our health testing results and pedigrees with you!

About Us
We are a busy family of five and farm nestled on almost 50 acres of rolling hills in North East Georgia. We enjoy the outdoors, hiking the gorgeous trails and waterfalls, spending time on the lake and exploring the small towns local to our area, all with our dogs by our side. With 20 years of raising, training and breeding we have finally focused our attention on bringing the incredible temperaments of working line shepherds to your average active family. We believe that access to these amazing creatures should be not limited to sporting and working homes and aim to help more families like us find their perfect family friend!
